The Salutation
of the Blessed Virgin Mary
of Saint Francis of Assisi |
|
Hail, O Lady, Holy Queen,
Mary, holy Mother of God:
you are the Virgin made Church
chosen by the most Holy Father in heaven
whom He consecrated with His most holy beloved Son
and with the Holy Spirit the Paraclete,
in whom there was and is all fullness of grace and every good.
Hail His Palace!
Hail His Tabernacle!
Hail His Dwelling!
Hail His Robe!
Hail His Servant!
Hail His Mother!
And hail all you holy virtues
Which are poured into the hearts of the faithful
through the grace and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit,
that from being unbelievers,
you may make them faithful to God. |

Saint
Francis Prayer Before the Crucifix
Most High, glorious God,
enlighten the darkness of my heart and give me
true faith, certain hope, and perfect charity,
sense and knowledge, Lord, that I may carry out
Your holy and true command.

Sharing
your Treasure with Saint Francis

The Lord Jesus himself gave Francis of Assisi the commission to rebuild his
Church, and, when the world was growing cold, renewed the marks of his passion
in the body of the saint.
Today, many pilgrims and visitors
experience in this Shrine and holy sanctuary the presence of Christ the Lord
and the peace that only he can bring.
From these faithful, the
NATIONAL SHRINE OF SAINT
FRANCIS OF ASSISI seeks support for its ministry
to rebuild the spiritual life of the Church.
We
rely on the generosity of so many of you in order to
make the development of this ministry a reality. We
are extremely grateful for whatever gift you may be
able to share with us and will include you in our daily
prayers as you become a part of our mission.
In
sending your donation, please indicate to which of the areas you would like
