Prayer is a central part of our ministry at the NATIONAL SHRINE OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI.
We invite you to communicate your prayer intentions and petitions to us by mailing us a note or sending an e-mail message. Your specific requests and intentions will be placed near the altar of the NATIONAL SHRINE OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI and remembered in our daily prayers and celebration of the Eucharist.

Sharing your “Treasure” with Saint Francis

The Lord Jesus himself gave Francis of Assisi the commission to rebuild his Church, and, when the world was growing cold, renewed the marks of his passion in the body of the saint.

Today, many pilgrims and visitors experience in this Shrine and holy sanctuary the presence of Christ the Lord and the peace that only he can bring.

From these faithful, the NATIONAL SHRINE OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI seeks support for its ministry to rebuild the spiritual life of the Church.
